Uniquely You

Just like your personality, no two people are the same when it comes to food sensitivities. Particular food intolerances may not be the shared among parents, siblings, and children, and your activity levels do not play a role in determining the number or the severity of the intolerance.

Here is a list of some of the primary symptoms of food intolerances:

  • Irritable bowel syndrome
  • Bloating
  • Skin problems like eczema or rashes
  • Migraines
  • Fatigue
  • Weight gain

If you have experienced one or more of the above, you may have an intolerance to one or more foods in your diet.

“Cow’s milk, yeast, wheat, and alcohol are all common foods people react to. If you suspect you have allergies or sensitivities to certain foods, avoid them for 14 days and reintroduce them one by one, while noting your symptoms, to find out what could be causing the problem,” says Patrick.
